This morning the “Casa dell'acqua” was inaugurated in San Giorgio a Cremano, in the presence of the top officials of the municipal administration. A scheduled supply by Buttol Srl as part of the urban hygiene contract.
It is located in via Bachelet, adjacent to the covered food market and from today it will allow you to take purified water, simple or sparkling at a cost of 5 cents per liter. The dispenser will work 24 hours a day and is available not only for residents but for anyone who wants to use it
To get water from the dispenser, you will only need to insert a minimum of 5 cents in coins to fill half a liter or a liter, thus reducing the use of plastic in our homes to a minimum. From next week, rechargeable cards will also be available that will allow you to get water starting from 2,5 cents for half a liter. The card can be collected at the info point in via Mazzini at a cost of 5 euros.
The purification filters are changed every 4 months, always guaranteeing controlled, clean and bacteriologically purified water. In addition, the system will be periodically sanitized. It will bring undeniable benefits to the environment with less CO2, less production of plastic bottles and less waste to dispose of.
Starting tomorrow, San Giorgio a Cremano will also have this new dispensing system, so it is recommended to preferably use glass bottles, carefully washed before use.
This is the first water house. A second one will open soon in via Cappiello.
