However, it happens that a fan parks his car in Veniero Street and that an illegal parking attendant asks for the so-called “whatever you like”. The act is in itself criminally and morally detectable but this time we go further.
The man – Umberto Del Sole, a 50-year-old local already known to the police – demands money from the man to be able to park and above all to find his “immaculate” car. The fee is 5 € but the victim doesn't accept it and refuses.
Tempers are starting to flare but fortunately a patrol from the Posillipo station and a patrol car from the Naples mobile radio unit are nearby, that's why they're there.
The military intervenes and ascertains the attempted extortion. The illegal parking attendant is arrested and placed under house arrest pending trial. For the victim, regardless of his passion for football, an evening lived in the name of civil law.
