Benevento. Delayed bankruptcy and composition procedures to prevent the recovery of debts. The investigation involves entrepreneurs, lawyers, accountants and concerns several bankruptcy procedures registered in the court of Benevento.
The Benevento prosecutor's office has concluded its investigations and sent notices to 40 people, among whom the names of entrepreneurs Biagio, Biagio Flavio, Nunzia, Vincenzo and Flavio Mataluni of Montesarchio, owners of Olio Dante and Antonio and Cosimo Rummo, of the pasta factory of the same name, stand out.
The investigation stems from a bankruptcy agreement rejected in 2015. The documents were forwarded by the bankruptcy judge to the prosecutor's office and the Guardia di Finanza, which is investigating a company born from the merger of two others, with the legal representative under investigation for tax fraud.
From there the checks begin and the Guardia di Finanza discover a controlled system to manage the bankruptcies and the agreements for the restructuring of the debts of some companies. Several cases have ended up under the lens of the investigators. Last December the prosecutor's office also ordered measures to prohibit the practice of the profession against some lawyers and accountants. Measures on which the Court of Cassation will decide on April 20th.
