Invimit, agreement with the Municipality of Naples to enhance the real estate assets. The agreement is part of the "Pact for Naples"
Invimit, a company 100% owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Municipality of Naples today announce the signing of a Plan for the enhancement and efficiency of the Real Estate Assets of the Municipality of Naples through the establishment of mutual investment funds managed by the Sgr.
The agreement is part of the "Pact for Naples", signed in recent days by Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi, to restore state and municipal public finances.
The Plan provides, over a period of more than ten years, the transfer in tranches of part of the real estate assets of the Municipality: the first tranche of contribution of properties, quantified following initial assessments and analyses by Invimit, will be equal to approximately 600 real estate units, for a value of approximately 30 million euros, and may be concluded within one year from the start of the technical and legal analysis activities. The second and third contributions are expected by September 2023 and April 2024 respectively.
The first valorisable properties identified by Invimit, in agreement with the Municipality of Naples, will be transferred to a new sector, the “Comparto Napoli del Fondo i3 Sviluppo Italia”, specifically established for the Municipality and which has already obtained authorisation for its establishment from the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The fund will be owned 70% by the Municipality of Naples and 30% by the i3Core Fund, which will meet the capital needs for the valorization of the assets conferred by the Municipality.
