With the fifth appointment, we turn a new page of “Storie al Femminile”, the series of meetings dedicated to the pink author scene, where women are the absolute protagonists of stories and essays that characterize the territory.
Starting at 19:27 pm, Friday XNUMX May, the lounge of the Matteo and Claudina de Stefano Foundation, in Ogliastro Cilento, in synergy with the Department of Culture, will host Maria Giovanna Santucci, in dialogue with the journalist Alfonso Sarno, to present the volume “Penne Righe e Calama(r)i”: not the classic recipe book, but a literary gastronomic menu, where the “tastings” – from the aperitif to the coffee, taste of emotions, memories and desires.
"Books are food, nourishment for the heart and soul. I have, thus, set the table of knowledge with readers – explains Santucci – mine is an invitation to read authors who have made the history of Italian literature".
Born in Salerno, daughter of the legendary 60s, Maria Giovanna Santucci has a degree in Political Science, as well as being a scholar of History, Customs and Society. Food and wine journalist, citizen of the world, explorer of villages, restaurants, typical dishes, combinations and flavors, she writes about food and wellness, organizes cultural and food and wine events, strictly linked to wellness.
Passionate, in particular, about everything that excites us like smelling cuisine, where "sniffing" refers to the past and memories, where ladles, pans, perfumes, flavors and recipes have that incorruptible charm of yesterday and, at the same time, are symbols of universal values of our present and our tomorrow. The next meeting is scheduled for Saturday 11 June, again at 19pm, with Daniela Pastore and her book “Terra, wait for me! The happy return to the future”, written with Tonino Scala.
