“The review – declares the artistic director Andrea Avagliano - is part of the path undertaken last year by the Museo-FRaC-Baronissi and the Associazione Tutti Suonati to experiment with new contaminations between expressive languages. After the successful debut of the first edition, Visionnaire22 continues its adventure with a particular focus on documentary cinema, with music as its leitmotif this year. The festival speaks of “narrations”, therefore of a dialogue, of an opening with the intent of recombination of languages and creativity, seeking an exchange of imaginations, suggestions, new visions with the public. An event that is a proposal that was missing in the Campania panorama and that has the particularity of uniting audio and visual with the word that becomes a literary story.”
Prof. echoes him. Max Bignardi, Director of the FRaC Museum:
“It is with satisfaction that the Baronissi Regional Contemporary Art Fund, in union with the Tutti Suonati Association, once again confirms itself as a place of experimentation and encounters of contemporary creative languages. We have given space to art forms such as dance, theater and video art but now it is once again the turn of Visionnaire, a review of documentaries and theater that reaches its second edition, whose central theme is music. Thanks to Visionnaire we continue a multidisciplinary artistic journey that intertwines with the world of documentaries, confirming an interesting and enjoyable experience where the public, always attentive and motivated, can attend the screenings and meetings with the protagonists, in the beautiful setting of the Terrazza degli aranci. This completes a fundamental journey that is that of knowledge and sharing of the arts.”
While the Mayor of Baronissi Gianfranco Valiante concludes:
“Visionnaire is one of the most significant cultural events that the city of Baronissi has developed in recent years.
An extraordinary quality festival, dedicated to documentary cinema and theatre, which last year saw the presence of guests of great national prestige, from Alessandro Rossellini to Renato Carpentieri, to name just a few, and which is back again this year with a rich and varied programme, a clear sign of the extraordinary ability to bring together experiences and skills.
Baronissi – thanks also to the tireless activity of the FRaC Museum – is now a place of excellence for culture and art.”
