The victory of the 5 Star Movement in Naples and the province with 11 single-member constituencies out of 11 won between the Chamber and the Senate takes on plebiscite proportions in the neighborhoods of Scampia and Miano. Dario Carotenuto obtained, respectively, 64,6% and 63,14% of the preferences, Ada Lopreiato 63,76% and 62,33%.
Ultimately, the grillini are first in nine out of ten municipalities. In the sixth Municipality of San Giovanni-Barra-Ponticelli (former communist stronghold) the M5stelle reaches 57,74%.
These are the areas - as Il Mattino analyzes - where the right does not pass: Fdi stops at 8,72% in San Giovanni, at 9,91% in Secondigliano and at 9,64% in Scampia. Pd does badly in the sixth (12,4%), while there is a total collapse in the seventh and eighth: the Dems do not go beyond 10%. 8,06% in Secondigliano and 9,07% in Scampia.
In the West area of Naples, the ninth and tenth Municipalities, the grillini reach 48,42% and 42,85%. In Soccavo-Pianura, the second place is disputed between Pd and Fdi (12,65% against 11,92%). Fi is doing well at 7,43%. In Bagnoli-Fuorigrotta, an area included in Di Maio's single-member constituency, Pd reaches 18,22%, FdI at 11,98%, Fi at 5,33%, Azione-Iv at 5,2% and Unione popolare just under 4%.
In Chiaia-Posillipo-San Ferdinando the M5S reaches 19,48%, the PD 19,4%, Brothers of Italy 19,25% and Action-IV at 17,6%. But in this case the candidacy of Mara Carfagna in the single-member constituency had an impact. In Chiaia Fdi reaches previously unimagined levels: four times the preferences collected a year ago in the municipal elections in the same Municipality.
In October 2021 it was stuck at 5,89%, today it is almost 20. Very bad Civic Engagement (1,38%), despite the drive of the single-member candidacy of Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio. In the historic center area, second Municipality (Avvocata-Montecalvario-San Giuseppe-Porto-Mercato-Pendino) it is a yellow wave: M5S at 41,82%. The Democratic Party at 16,86%, the Greens-Left alliance also did well (4,41%).
The center-right coalition is led by FdI, with 11,14%, followed by Fi (5,65%). Azione-Iv stands at 5,24%, while Unione popolare manages to do better, with 5,67%. The only Municipality together with Vomero where the party of the former mayor is above 3%. Grillini also triumphs in the third and fourth Municipalities: with 45,62% and 49,98% respectively.
In Stella-San Carlo all'Arena the PD is positioned on the second step with 15,72%, FdI 11,88%. In San Lorenzo-Vicaria-Poggioreale-Zona industriale instead FdI is placed behind the M5S and overtakes the Dems: 12,48% against 11,97%. The PD has the satisfaction - at least one - of managing to wrest from the Conti supporters at least the sceptre in the hilly area.

In the fifth Municipality (Vomero-Arenella) the Democratic Party reaches 26,16%, the M5S 25,01%. Good performance by Fdi with 14,57%. Also with their heads held high are Azione-Iv with 8,97% and Verdi-Sinistra with 5,49%. In the center-left coalition +Europa exceeds 3, while for Di Maio's Ic it is a flop (1,27%). In the opposing coalition Fi is at 5,36%, Lega at 1,53%. At the home of the former PM de Magistris, in Vomero, Unione popolare reaches 5,24%.
