“You are a walking dead man”. But despite the explicit threat, the courageous businessman from Pianura reported his extortionists and had them arrested.
Rosario Iorio, Francesco Marfella and Christian Titas, and the three young recruits belonging to the Calone-Esposito-Marsicano clan of Pianura, were stopped yesterday morning by the Carabinieri. The investigation by the Carabinieri of Naples began thanks to the complaint filed by the victim. The man, owner of a funeral home in the area, reported that he had ended up in the sights of those arrested who, after introducing themselves as emissaries of the clan, allegedly ordered him to comply with the law like all the shops in Pianura.
The price of peace of mind was 2000 euros immediately and 3000 euros every month. When the victim refused, however, the threats began. However, despite repeated intimidation, the man did not give in to the bullying of the Camorra and, indeed, decided to tell the police everything.
“We are the Cannavino guys. We need to talk to you. Come to the red skyscraper”. This was the first approach of the racket collectors of the clan. And then, a few days later: “'O zì, you know you are really rude. How dare you not come to the appointment? Maybe you didn't understand, you have to pay like all the shops do. Pianura".
