In Caserta, Ukrainian refugees are forced to pay full-price meal tickets for their children.
This is what Caserta city councilor Maurizio Del Rosso reports: "This happens because the system does not provide for the selection of refugee status at ISEE 0; the management program does not accept requests without the Indicator of economic situation. I immediately involved the problem with the Presidency of the Council of the Municipality of Caserta and the manager with responsibility for canteen Giovanni Natale for the necessary checks".
Del Rosso says he “learned that Ukrainian citizens who fled the conflict and are living in our city, given the impossibility of having the ISEE due to a regulatory gap, are forced to pay the canteen ticket for their children at full price, or like those who have a high income”.
