The cultural initiative “START.” continues: The Blue Gospel Singers are the protagonists of the second event.
Scheduled for 20:00 pm on Sunday 1 January 2023 at the Church of Santa Maria la Nova in Sant'Anastasia (Na), the concert of The Blue Gospel Singers, the second event of the “START” project.
The project “START.”, promoted by the Municipality of Sant'Anastasia (Na) and included in the Metropolitan Events Program of the Metropolitan City of Naples, reaches its second stage, with a spectacular concert by The Blue Gospel Singers, one of the best gospel choirs in Italy. Directed by Mario Paduano, their repertoire ranges from tributes to the greats of international music such as Stevie Wonder, Queen, Tina Turner and Michael Jackson, to Christmas Classics reinterpreted in a modern key, up to their own excellent unreleased songs.
They have received numerous awards, including the prestigious recognition as Best Gospel Choir at the 2007 Venice Gospel Festival. The setting for this evocative event will be the Church of Santa Maria la Nova, an important sacred building in the Municipality of Sant'Anastasia, a place of extraordinary beauty that encompasses centuries of history, given its probable construction in the Early Middle Ages.
The mayor of the Municipality of Sant'Anastasia Carmine Esposito and the entire municipal administration, very attentive to the opportunities promoted by the Metropolitan City of Naples, promise to accompany the citizens of Sant'Anastasia and neighboring municipalities throughout the new year, having distributed the seven events that make up the project between the end of 2022 and September 2023.
During the Christmas period, music cannot be missed and, with the concert of the choir The Blue Gospel Singers, the “START.” project reaffirms the value of the entire cultural initiative and strengthens the promise to amaze and excite those who choose to be a participating spectator of the offer that the Municipality of Sant'Anastasia, through “START.”, will put in place in the now imminent 2023.
