Napoli. This morning, the Investigative Unit of the Provincial Carabinieri Command of Napoli executed a precautionary custody order, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 3 suspects.
All detainees (a fourth suspect, also the recipient of the provision, is detained abroad), considered seriously suspected, to varying degrees, of attempted murder in complicity, possession and illegal carrying of a weapon, as well as personal injury, aggravated by mafia methods.
The investigation, conducted by the aforementioned Nucleus, originates from two distinct bloody episodes, linked to each other, which occurred in Naples on 29.11.2019, a few hours apart, and has allowed the identification of the suspects MARRAZZO Ciro and GIARNIERI Mario, considered to be close to the contexts of organized crime.
The first as the instigator and the second as the material executor, are responsible for the wounding of Nicola MINIERI, against whom several gunshots were fired while he was on the public road, because he was considered responsible, together with others, for the damage to the motorcycle of the accused MARRAZZO.
Furthermore, to identify the suspects MINIERI Nicola and his brother Ciro, both believed to be close to the Camorra group called Masiello, the first as the instigator and the second as the material executor, as those responsible for the attempted murder of GIARNIERI Antonio – brother of Mario and a person completely unrelated to the events described and to the organised crime circuits – at whom several gunshots were fired while he was busy carrying out his work inside a public establishment, as revenge for the above-mentioned fact.

– MINIERI Ciro, born in Naples on 6.2.1999;
– MARRAZZO Ciro, born in Naples on 7.10.1999;
– GIARNIERI Mario, born in Naples on 26.12.1997.
