Drunk, he allegedly beat his 16-year-old daughter. Then his wife. And again, he allegedly threatened to kill them with a kitchen knife. In front of the other 3 minor children. The violence was triggered by the accidental fall of a smartphone.
It happened in the municipality of Qualiano.
A 42-year-old local man with no criminal record allegedly beat his daughter just because she was responsible for dropping his cell phone. The father's anger and slaps were triggered by a trivial domestic incident.
The mother would have intervened, to defend the girl. And she would have taken them too, forcefully. As had been happening for 12 years now. A climate of constant terror that would not have spared the other 3 children. Right before their eyes, the 42-year-old would have threatened the two women with death. During the fight, some passers-by heard screaming in the street and dialed 112.

The Carabinieri of the Giugliano radiomobile section intervened shortly after.
At home, the two women were huddled in a corner. Livid, the three children still in tears. The 42-year-old was arrested and is now in prison, awaiting trial.
