After having received the no-confidence vote of 13 city councilors that put an end to his administrative experience, Cristoforo Salvati is trying again with the consensus of the leaders of his party: “I can announce that I am officially the candidate for mayor of Fratelli d'Italia.”, we read in the press note.
“I have just received the official candidacy, after the exploratory mandate, from the provincial leaders of the party. A pride for me who in FDI have built the last 10 years of a political career in which I have grown together with the party.
I had no doubts about the choice, because I know the motivations and ideals that have always been synonymous with the good politics carried out by Fratelli d'Italia. In 10 years we have become the first party in the country and the results are already being seen, despite the serious socio-economic crisis.
In my small way, in Scafati, I have carried forward a project based on honesty, on coherence, on the policy of service for the citizen. In these elections I will not need to make promises, because I have accustomed the Scafatesi to the work of the administration, setting the example first.
I will continue the projects of the last 4 years. I started from scratch, with a city to rebuild in all aspects, including urban hygiene. Today, with pride, I see many things that have been done and with a spirit of sacrifice and dedication I am ready to do more.
In Fratelli d'Italia, the national government teaches us, the doors are not closed. But we must be worthy of representing the first party of the government that in these months has given an image of great compactness and development. A model to bring back to Scafati in the coming years.
I have so many things to complete and so many things to accomplish, but with the help of the city I am convinced that this time, all together, we can do it. Good politics always wins over personal interests.”
