The Assembly of breeders gathered yesterday evening (27 April 2023) in Casal di Principe at the invitation of the Unitary Coordination adopted a Unitary resolution with the request to the Prefect to convene a new table in the Prefecture with the President of the Region and Councilor for Health, Vincenzo De Luca and the participation of the National Government.
The aim of the meeting is to discuss how to implement the indications voted unanimously by the National Parliament and accepted by the National Government with the Agenda no. G/452/7/1 and 5 to the DDL no. 452.
The document of the Breeders' Assembly is considered an adequate and useful basis on which to find the agreement of the Regional Council of Campania since (after being presented by parliamentarians of the majority of the Campania territory and signed with the first signature of the President of the Ninth Commission of the Senate) all the parliamentary political forces (therefore also those that express the majority in the Campania Region) and the National Government itself have assumed it.
The agenda proposes to "requalify" the Campania Plan on BRC and TBC, on the basis of the community regulation 689/20 (subject of the Petition proposed in Europe by the Coordination) ensuring the overcoming and resolution of some critical issues (self-control, opening of a shared discussion table, vaccination, traceability of milk, land development works).
The spokesperson of the Unitary Coordination, Gianni Fabbris, sent the document to the Prefect of Caserta with the request to activate the necessary initiatives to compose a table with the President of the Campania Region and the breeders with the participation of the National Government before releasing it to the press.
The Document, among other things, motivates the urgency of opening this table to prevent the application of the Plan from producing irreparable damage both in light of the evident data of the failure that are emerging, and for the new elements that have emerged from the Hearing that General Luigi Cortellessa has given before the Senate Commission with which all the inadequacy of the Plan to resolve the problems and the gravity of what is happening to the detriment of companies, the territory and the health of citizens is certified.
To the Prefect, the Spokesperson of the Coordination represented the growing risks for the stability of the economic-environmental fabric and civil coexistence in the area, recalling how the Coordination has always worked to promote overcoming the risk of deterioration of relationships between institutions and social actors but that this objective must be shared by all parties involved and, therefore, hoped that the action of the Prefect could induce the Campania Region to be available for discussion on the basis of this evident element of novelty produced by national politics which is, precisely, the ODG adopted unanimously and made its own by the Government.
The Breeders' Assembly, after adopting the document, decided to open a new phase of agitation that "does not exclude any initiative to achieve results" and appeals to the citizens of Caserta and the entire country to participate and support the mobilization carried out with sacrifice and in the interest of all.
