An eight-hour strike for each work shift has been called for tomorrow by Slai Cobas at the Stellantis plant in Pomigliano d'Arco (Naples), to protest against “the unsustainability of working conditions due to the systematic increases in workloads and the shameful hygiene and safety conditions existing in the departments and environments of the factory”.
The strike follows those of the last few weeks proclaimed by Fiom and the same grassroots union to protest against the increase in workloads. Finally, Slai Cobas underlines how the strike was proclaimed “in continuity of the union position against the problems that have always existed in FCA Pomigliano and which have further worsened in recent times, but above all with the courage of the workers to claim them with the strikes of the past weeks”.
