An earthquake of magnitude 2.9 occurred in the Campi Flegrei area at 17.39:3. The Vesuvius Observatory, the Neapolitan headquarters of the INGV, identified the epicenter near the Solfatara, in the municipality of Pozzuoli, at a depth of XNUMX km.
The shock was felt by the population. At the moment there are no reports of damage to people or things. The mayor of Pozzuoli Gigi Manzoni has started the checks with the civil protection and firefighters in action.
