Providential interventions in the last 24 hours by the Fire Brigade of the provincial command of Avellino and branch offices for the rescue and recovery of animals.
A team of firefighters from the Grottaminarda detachment intervened in a house in San Sossio Baronia where a snake had found refuge. The specimen of Cervone, this is the breed of the reptile, was captured and entrusted to the veterinary service of the ASL.
On the outskirts of Avellino, the Fire Department instead saved a fox cub that got stuck in a fence. It was freed and returned to its habitat.
