Over the weekend, the Local Police di Napoli has intensified prevention and control activities in the city's nightlife areas.
In particular, inspections were carried out at commercial establishments and catering establishments. During the checks, it was found that a bar located in Vicoletto Belledonne was selling alcoholic beverages to minors, which is why it was fined.
Fines were also issued to seven establishments in the Chiaia district for failing to comply with noise regulations, while another establishment was fined for violating the smoking ban.
Five illegal parking attendants in the Chiaia area were identified and fined for traffic violations. The proceeds of their illegal activities were seized, and two other people were reported for repeat offenders in the activity of illegal parking attendants.
Overall, 23 vehicles were checked, 20 reports were issued for violations of the highway code, 12 administrative stops were carried out and one administrative seizure was made. In addition, the Local Police extended its commitment to checks in Vomero.
In the area between Piazza Vanvitelli and Via Aniello Falcone, 29 uncontested fines were issued, 2 contested fines were issued and 10 vehicles were towed away. During the checks of public places, a place in Via Luca Giordano was fined for violating the provisions on noise impact.
At the same time, the Investigative Department staff carried out numerous checks relating to the sale of counterfeit clothing, footwear and accessories. A significant quantity of goods were seized in the areas of La Maddalena, in Via San Giuseppe Calasanzio, and between Corso Umberto I and Piazza Garibaldi, with particular attention to Via Pica, areas that have long been the focus of attention by the Local Police, as they represent important distribution centers of counterfeit goods in the streets and city markets.
Over 400 items of counterfeit clothing, women's bags, shoes, jackets and jeans destined for the parallel market of designer brands were seized.
