Last weekend, the officers of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, with the assistance of personnel from the Local Police of Napoli, carried out checks in the area of the “chalets” of Mergellina and in Largo Sermoneta.
During the operation, 582 people were identified, 97 of whom had a police record, 198 vehicles were checked, two of which were subjected to administrative seizure, and 20 violations of the Highway Code were contested for driving without a license, failure to perform periodic inspections, failure to display circulation documents, lack of insurance coverage, driving without a protective helmet, failure to comply with driving restrictions, no parking and for using a mobile phone while driving; finally, a driving license was withdrawn.
