As part of investigations directed by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples North, the Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Aversa Company have executed an order issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples North which orders the precautionary measure of custody in prison against two people.
The investigations have allowed us to gather serious evidence of guilt against both suspects, as they are considered responsible for six car thefts, at least two of which were committed in collaboration with each other.
The thefts were committed in the municipalities of Aversa, Lusciano and Casoria between November 2022 and January 2023.
The recipients of the precautionary measure are seriously suspected of having taken possession of the vehicles, which were parked on the public road or in condominium parking areas, by forcing the doors, breaking the ignition locks and removing black boxes where they existed.
The investigative activity, conducted through the collection of victims' statements, the viewing of images taken by private and public surveillance systems, the analysis of the results of the technical activity carried out, has allowed us to reconstruct in minute detail the criminal actions carried out by the subjects subject to the precautionary measure.
One of the suspects was immediately taken to a prison facility, while the other, after evading searches for a few days, spontaneously showed up at another prison facility on the evening of 22.11.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX.
Further investigations are underway into similar criminal conduct carried out in ways similar to those certified by the investigations.
