CWith a significant gesture of generosity, PAC 2000A Conad renews its support to the Santobono Pausilipon Onlus Foundation with a donation of 70.500 euros. This contribution aims to fuel the development of a promising research area dedicated to pediatric oncohematology at the Aorn Santobono Pausilipon Hospital in Naples.
Conad's constant commitment to helping the Foundation translates into a total of over 250.000 euros donated in the last three years. The symbolic check delivery ceremony took place this morning at the general management of Aorn Santobono Pausilipon, in the presence of important figures such as Fabio Lupo and Giovanni Anania, respectively director of the Campania Area and Marketing director of PAC 2000A Conad; Rodolfo Conenna, general director of the Santobono-Pausilipon national hospital; Flavia Matrisciano and Anna Maria Ziccardi, director and president of the Santobono-Pausilipon Foundation.
The donation, obtained through the solidarity collection initiative “Una collezione da favola”, created in collaboration with GOOFI by Egan, was fundamental in supporting the pediatric departments of the territory. Thanks to the participation of Conad customers, who purchased the products of the GOOFI Christmas subjects line inspired by fairy tale characters and made of 100% recycled plastic, it was possible to donate 50 cents for each sale to the Fondazione Santobono Pausilipon Onlus.
Fabio Lupo expressed pride in confirming Conad's commitment alongside the Foundation and the Aorn Santobono Pausilipon Hospital in Naples, underlining the importance of every gesture of generosity in contributing to a better world. He thanked customers for their support and members for their constant commitment to charitable activities, underlining how scientific research is crucial in bringing hope and possibilities.
Rodolfo Conenna illustrated the project to set up a research area dedicated to testing effective therapies also for patients who do not respond to traditional treatments, underlining the fundamental role of the support of Conad and its customers in accelerating the development of research in oncohematology.
The words of Flavia Matrisciano and Anna Maria Ziccardi highlighted the importance of Conad's support in realizing large-scale projects, underlining how the union of efforts can contribute to achieving great goals in the field of hospital scientific research.
