Some inmates of the female section of the prison of Benevento will be the protagonists of a show entitled “7 cancelli”, scheduled for tomorrow at 18 pm at the Teatro Comunale in the city.
This initiative, promoted by volunteers of the Exit Strategy Association in collaboration with the Instabile delle Mandragole theatre company, aims to raise awareness on issues related to the condition of women and the fight against gender violence.
The director of the Sannio penitentiary institute, Gianfranco Marcello, made this event known, thanking the mayor Clemente Mastella and the councilor for Culture, Antonella Tartaglia Polcini, for having made the city theater available and confirming their commitment to the penitentiary reality.
The “Benevento Città Spettacolo” Foundation will support the logistical organization of the event to ensure its success.
