PC, a boy of only 13 years old, died due to an omitted tumor diagnosis. The Prosecutor's Office has entered doctors and healthcare personnel of the hospital facilities in the register of suspects Caserta and Rome for manslaughter and falsification of medical records.
The young PC suffered from uncontrollable pain in his knee, but the cancer diagnosis was not made in a timely manner, depriving him of the opportunity to receive adequate treatment.
Studio Associati Maior, appointed by PC’s family, is following the criminal and civil aspects of the case. “Our legal action is starting to produce its first results,” says the firm. “We await with confidence the results of the investigation.”
PC’s grief-stricken family calls for justice. “We will not give up,” the family says. “We owe it to our son.”
This tragic event highlights the need for a more efficient and safe healthcare system. Studio Associati Maior and the PC family will continue to fight for justice and to prevent similar tragedies from happening again in the future.
