Shocking discovery in Naples: a beauty center was practicing non-standard medical treatments, putting the health of its customers at risk. Luca Abete of 'Striscia la Notizia' documented the situation and made it known to the general public, bringing to light a disturbing case.
Abete's investigation revealed that the beauty center was performing septum treatments and a procedure known as "blepharoplasma." This technique, which uses a laser to burn off excess skin on the eyelid, should only be performed by qualified doctors.
The correspondent asked for the opinion of experts in the field, who confirmed the dangers of such practices when not carried out correctly. “Blepharoplasty and rhinoplasty are complex surgical procedures that require the intervention of a specialized doctor”, declared an expert consulted by Abete.
“Improper use of lasers can cause burns to the cornea and deep tissues, and in the most severe cases, can cause necrosis with irreversible damage.” The discovery has sparked a wave of concern among salon customers and the public, highlighting the need for greater scrutiny and regulation in the industry.
