Castellammare. "Let's give back the sea and the beach of the municipal villa to the people of Castellammare.

Yesterday, Wednesday, was a historic day for our Castellammare di Stabia: first, the results of the ARPAC analyses confirmed the restoration of bathing safety and the possibility of lifting the bathing ban, then the positive outcome of the Campania Region's conference of services, which confirmed the usability of the beach, over 50 square meters.

In the next few days I will be able to sign the decree to revoke the bathing ban". This was declared by Luigi Vicinanza, mayor of Castellammare di Stabia .

"The restored sea," he added, "is a reality and represents an opportunity to make Stabia great, a restitution that comes a year earlier than I reiterated during the election campaign.

A very important result. In collaboration with the municipal offices and the local health authority, we are carrying out a series of cleaning, rodent control, and disinfestation interventions. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Campania Region, the EIC, and Gori for their enormous effort and the work they have carried out over the years.

The green light for bathing on the shoreline in front of the Castellammare di Stabia municipal villa "represents a historic achievement for the entire Castellammare di Stabia area and for the entire Gulf of Naples, in line with the findings of the conference of services held yesterday morning in the Campania Region regarding the plan to characterize the Stabia beach, which shows that the beach is fully usable.

An epochal turning point".

This is according to the Campania Water Authority, the governing body for the integrated water cycle in Campania. This achievement, the agency explains, is "the fruit of the extraordinary work undertaken since 2017 by the Campania Water Authority and the Campania Region, in synergy with Gori Acqua, to outline important new development prospects through an unprecedented environmental remediation effort."

Luca Mascolo, president of the Campania Water Authority, stated: "We've dreamed of this goal for decades. We believed in it from day one, throwing ourselves into it. We've worked tirelessly toward a historic goal for our region.

And today we are reaping the fruits of an exciting and compelling project, a reward for all the efforts made. The bathing conditions of the Castellammare di Stabia coastline are now a beautiful reality.

The result we have achieved is the culmination of a journey that began seven years ago and was carried out with skill, commitment, and professionalism, disproving all skeptics and working day and night without ever giving an inch."

Mascolo extends "heartfelt thanks to the entire team at the Campania Water Authority, who have worked tirelessly in cooperation with the Campania Region and Gori to achieve this result, which projects our regions toward unexplored horizons of growth and development, also leveraging the tenacity of President Vincenzo De Luca and Vice President Fulvio Bonavitacola.

We are writing a new story," he concludes, "laying solid foundations for protecting the environment around us and building a better world, one that lives up to the desires and expectations of present and future generations."
