Around 13.30 pm, the Napoli Calcio team arrived in Alto Sangro for the pre-championship summer retreat, which will last until August 9. The Azzurri were welcomed at the Acqua Montis hotel in Rivisondoli, where they will stay for the entire period.
For the former Italian champions, on their arrival today, few fans were present to welcome them. The first training session is scheduled for the afternoon at 18.15, in the Patini stadium in Castel di Sangro, where a significantly different and larger influx of supporters is expected.
Security is guaranteed by a significant deployment of law enforcement, with police, carabinieri and steward staff committed to maintaining public order. Around 140 thousand people are expected in the two weeks of retreat, with an average of 10 thousand people per day.
