Naples. A stolen truck with a load of 400 kilograms of asbestos sheets was found near the former landfill in the Soccavo – Pianura neighborhood.
The operation was carried out by agents of the Soccavo and Environmental Protection Operational Units (IAES) of the Naples local police.
Operation that is part of the activities aimed at repressing and combating environmental crimes.
Both the truck and the waste it contained were seized by the local police who also took steps to secure theasbestos through a specialized company while waiting to proceed with regular disposal.
Investigations are underway, thanks also to the cameras present in the area, to trace the perpetrators of the crime.
