Arrested on charges of illegal possession of a weapon, he obtained a partial reform of the precautionary measure. Appearing before the judges of the Review Court, he admitted to possessing the gun, providing a reason related to previous attacks suffered.
THEinvestigated, accompanied by his lawyers Vincenzo Motti and Guido Diana, explained that he had found the weapon among his deceased father's things and had kept it with him for fear of suffering further violence, following a series of thefts and robberies in which he had been the victim.
In particular, he had suffered deep wounds in an attack, so much so that he had to resort to numerous stitches.
The judges, having evaluated the man's statements and the circumstances of the case, decided to revoke the house arrest, replacing it with the obligation to report to the judicial police. The investigation is still ongoing to ascertain the origin of the weapon and the responsibilities of the suspect.
