Already yesterday, the mayor of the Emilian capital, Matthew Lepore, in agreement with the prefect, had signed an ordinance declaring the impossibility of playing the match, even behind closed doors, due to the adverse weather conditions forecast for the weekend. A decision that has raised some doubts.
The president of Milan, Paolo scaroni, who expressed his disappointment: "Bologna-Milan was postponed with a decision that, in my opinion, is incomprehensible. The mayor banned the match even behind closed doors and I don't understand why. Faced with this ordinance, however, we can do nothing but bow our heads."
At the moment, a new date has not yet been set for the recovery of the match, which will be communicated in the next few days by Lega Serie A. In the meantime, the fact remains that Theo Hernandez and Reijnders, who would have been suspended for the Bologna match, will find themselves serving their suspensions in Tuesday's big match against Napoli.
