Secondigliano prisoner threatens agents – New episode of tension in the maximum security prison of Secondigliano. An inmate threatened the Penitentiary Police officers by brandishing a knife, but was disarmed thanks to the direct intervention of the prison director, Giulia Russo, who with composure and mediation skills convinced the man to put down the weapon and return to his cell.
The episode occurred in Department T2 of the structure, where the director showed promptness and determination, preventing the situation from degenerating. The general secretary of the Autonomous Union of Penitentiary Police (SAPPE), Donato Capece, expressed great appreciation for Russo's work, defining her intervention “an example of great professionalism and courage.”
On the same day, another serious event shook the penitentiary: during an inspection, an assistant of the Penitentiary Police discovered Drugs hidden in boiler pipesThe substance, brown in colour and wrapped in cellophane, was later confirmed to be a narcotic.

Tiziana Guacci, regional secretary of SAPPE, praised the ongoing commitment of the Penitentiary Police, capable of maintaining a minimum level of legality and security within the facility despite limited resources. Capece also applauded the officers involved in the operation, hoping for formal recognition for their commitment in the fight against the introduction of illicit objects into prisons.
