Murder last night in Naples: it happened in the Materdei neighborhood.
The victim is a 48-year-old man, Mariano Pilato. He was stabbed following an argument that broke out over trivial reasons in via Benedetto De Falco, in the area of Materdei.
The man died in hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
The agents of the Upg of the Naples Police Headquarters and the Dante and Decumani Police Stations intervened on site and started the investigations.
The officers quickly identified and arrested the alleged perpetrator of the brutal attack, a 59-year-old with a criminal record who was arrested for murder.
The man is currently at the Police Headquarters and is being questioned in the presence of the prosecutor of the Naples Prosecutor's Office and his lawyer.
