On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 December, two Christmas shows for families and children will be performed at the Teatro dei Piccoli at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples. The events are part of the Christmas program created by Casa del Contemporaneo/Le Nuvole, I Teatrini and Progetto Sonora in collaboration with the Municipality of Naples.

Specifically, on Saturday, December 21st at 11 am, it will be the turn of the clown show “Santa Claus and the Night of Gifts” performed by the Eccentrici Dadarò company from Varese. Aimed at children aged 4 and up, the show tells the adventures of Santa Claus struggling with an alarm clock that doesn’t ring and two children impatient to receive their gifts. The direction is entrusted to Dadde Visconti and there will be repeats for schools from December 18th to 20th. On Sunday, December 22nd, again at 11 am, it will be the turn of the “Gran Concerto di Natale” performed by the Progetto Sonora Ensemble. Intended for an audience aged 3 and up, the concert will offer a musical journey through the Christmas traditions of different cultures, ranging from Italian songs to African-American and Ukrainian ones.

The Christmas shows seem to be very interesting and fun for children. I hope there will be a lot of people who attend. I would like to go with my family too. However, the tickets are a bit expensive.
