Naples – Camorra shooting last night in the Materdei area. Camorra gunmen opened fire in Piazza Scipione Ammirato.
The police switchboard received numerous calls reporting a shooting in progress. The patrol cars of the Upg and that Dante police station arrived on the scene.
Two cars were found, a Hyundai and a Daihatsu, riddled with bullet holes. Investigations revealed that they were owned by people with no criminal record and that, when interviewed for summary information, they said they could not explain the intimidation.
The area has historically been under the control of the Vastarella clan and in recent months it has been under the attention of groups of child criminals who come from the Spanish Quarters.
The police are looking for images useful for the investigation from public and private cameras.
