It was February 10th of last year when, from the Carinola prison where one of the bosses of the Cipolletta family of Pomigliano is being held, he speaks with a sister-in-law and a three-year-old nephew.
A foul and violent language intercepted by the men of the Naples DDA who were investigating the Camorra war in Pomigliano between the Ferretti and the Cipolletta families and which yesterday led to the issuing of 27 precautionary measures.
And the uncle complaining that the manager of a bar has not paid the protection money says "We have to go shooting and we have to shoot everyone, we have to get all the money". Then the conversation becomes vulgar between mother, son and uncle on the phone from prison. And then at a certain point the mother turning to the little boy says "Why is she using the gun?".
And the child, without batting an eyelid, replies: “Yes, I shoot the policemen…”. And the mother asks again: “Do you shoot the policemen?”. And the child again “Eh”. At that point the uncle intervenes and says: “We shoot them in the face”. And the little boy replies: “Eh”. And then the mother presses him: “Where, where? Where are you shooting them, let me see”. And the little boy then says: Near, near the church”.
Then the conversation continues with tones that should never be used, let alone in the presence of such a small child who at a certain point announces to his uncle in prison that he is about to get a tattoo of the Joker's face.
These are wiretaps that give you the shivers and paint a bleak picture, a sort of Camorra indoctrination by the uncle to his nephew. The conversation was intercepted by the military while in the home of one of the affiliates of the Cipolletta clan a video call is underway between the child's mother and a relative of hers, who is being held in the Carinola prison in Caserta.
And it all happens without the mother saying a word about the violence of the sentences addressed to the child. Afterwards the two adults, talking about an extortion to be imposed on a bar in Pomigliano d'Arco, continue to involve the little boy as if it were a game.
But it doesn't end there because a few nights later, the father shows the same child a gun while he's waiting for some associates to discuss bribes and Camorra stuff and hands it over to him. And the mother (that is, the same woman from the Oxford-level conversation she had a few days earlier on the phone with her brother-in-law and the child present) says: "You can't even hold it in your hand, asshole." And the father says: "Do you want the real thing?" And the child says: "Yes, yes, yes."
A climate of verbal and behavioral violence that is unjustifiable but which qualifies this family as criminals without rules.

It is really alarming how a child of such a young age is involved in such violent and vulgar conversations. The mother and uncle should be more responsible and not expose the child to such situations, which can have devastating effects on his development.
