A heated argument between neighbors escalated into a knife attack in the countryside of Aiello del Sabato, in the province of Avellino.
A 46-year-old woman, armed with a large kitchen knife, stabbed a 58-year-old man in the abdomen, who was immediately rescued and taken to the Moscati hospital in Avellino. Fortunately, his life is not in danger.
The Carabinieri are investigating the case, busy reconstructing the exact dynamics of the incident and the motive that led to the attack. The woman, currently reported at large, was questioned by the military of the local station.
