Cracking Art: “Chaosm – The Memory of Matter”
The famous Cracking Art movement, active since 1993, returns to the scene in Campania after its success in Milan. The exhibition entitled “Chaosmo – La memoria della materia” will be hosted in the spaces of Corso Trieste. On display will be iconic sculptures made of regenerated plastic, depicting various colored animals. A particular focus will be placed on the series of paintings “Chaosmo”, made with the material derived from the shredding of the same sculptures, to underline the idea of the continuous transformation of plastic and convey an ecological message.
### Marco Izzo and Caserta art
Also present at the event were the works of Marco Izzo, a young artist from Caserta born in 1997. Izzo, who began his career in the world of comics, then focused on painting, characterizing his works with the symbolic character "Cuby", a distinctive paralelepiped of his works. In 2024 he took part in the exhibition "Urban and Pop World" at the Rocca di San Giorgio in Orzinuovi, an important exhibition of pop art, neo pop and street art. Visits to the exhibitions will be accessible to the public by reservation only.
