Arrested while he was probably preparing to carry out an arson attack. The Carabinieri stopped last night a 39-year-old resident of Aiello del Sabato, in the province of Avellino, who abandoned his car at a roadblock and fled.
Inside the car, which turned out to be stolen, the military found some pistol bullets, a balaclava and a canister containing flammable liquid. The man, already known to the police, was then tracked down in his home and reported for receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of ammunition.
