The Campania Teatro Festival returns with a broad program of 150 shows, including 68 first-time performances, scheduled from June 13 to July 13, 2025. The 18th edition of the festival, presented in Naples, will take place in numerous locations in the Campania Region, including the prestigious Palazzo Reale.

International Events and National Prose
Among the 11 international events, the show “Lapis Lazuli” by the artist Euripides Laskaridis will be inaugurated on June 15 at the Mercadante in Naples. The Teatro Verdi in Salerno will present “Works and days” by the Flemish theater collective Fc Bergman on June 21 and 22, while the Politeama in Naples will stage “Titizé” by Daniele Finzi Pasca on June 24 and 25. For prose, 41 shows are scheduled with most of the premieres in Neapolitan theaters. Worthy of note, the “Oedipus Rex” directed by Luca De Fusco will be staged in the Villa Campolieto in Ercolano.
Special Events and Music
Among the special proposals, the concert-show “Napule è milionaria”, which pays homage to Eduardo De Filippo and Pino Daniele, will be performed on June 22. The synergy with Pompeii Theatrum Mundi also continues, while the concert “Pino è… il viaggio del musicante” is scheduled for September 18 in Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples. The Cinema section will be held at Palazzo Reale, curated in part by the Film Commission Campania, while the music section, with 12 events scheduled, will include the opening concert with Elisabetta Serio and Sarh Jane Morris in the Cortile d'Onore of Palazzo Reale.

The Campania festival seems really interesting but I don't know if I can go because there are so many events and the theaters are far from me. I hope the dates are well publicized for anyone who wants to attend.
