On Saturday, March 15th, at 11:00 a.m., the Maschio Angioino will host the opening of Sergio Staino's exhibition entitled "That Day Jesus Didn't Stop at Eboli" in the Litza Cittanova Valenzi room.
The event represents an important opportunity to admire the original tables of the famous designer and will see the participation of important institutional and local figures.
Exhibition and participations
The exhibition, curated by the Municipality of Aliano, will be open to the public until May 10, with visiting hours from 10 am to 17 pm, excluding Sundays and holidays. This event follows the presentation of the posthumous book of Staino's drawings, which took place about three months ago, and offers visitors the opportunity to see the designer's original works up close. The opening ceremony will be attended by the Mayor of Aliano, Luigi De Lorenzo, the Councilor of the Basilicata Region Cosimo Latronico, and the Director of the GAL Lucania interiore Ennio Di Lorenzo.
Representatives of the ENI Enrico Mattei Foundation will also be present, including Annalisa Percoco and Caterina Verrone, together with Franco Staino and Bruna Pinasco Staino. The President of the Basilicata Region, Vito Bardi, is also expected to participate. The exhibition is configured as a significant cultural event, presenting the works of Sergio Staino in a context that combines art and history, hosted in the evocative setting of the Maschio Angioino.
