Castellammare di Stabia – On Wednesday 16 April, at 17:30 pm, the Sala Congressi della Banca Stabiese (Corso Vittorio Emanuele 113) will host “#Stabia Meets Space Economy”, an event dedicated to the wonders of space and the frontiers of space exploration.
An unmissable opportunity for enthusiasts and the curious, ready to discover the latest news in the sector.
On stage, prominent figures: astrophysicist Mariafelicia De Laurentis, young entrepreneur Mattia Barbarossa, founder of Sidereus Space Dynamics, Luigi Carrino, president of the Campania Aerospace District, and Antonio Evangelista, head of systems engineering for the Space Factory Group.
In an interactive dialogue, experts will share visions and innovations, answering questions from the audience. The event will open with a video of scientist Amalia Ercoli Finzi, a pioneer of Italian aerospace engineering.
At the end, the Space Factory Group will award recognition plaques to personalities from Stabia for their commitment to promoting the culture of innovation: Antonella Capasso (Garden Club Stabiae), Elena Cavaliere (Liceo Severi), Michele Cioffi (Space Group), Marilena Filosa De Rosa (Past President Garden Club Stabiae) and Antonio Salza (ex Alenia Spazio Napoli).
Organized by Rotary Castellammare di Stabia – District 2101, in collaboration with the Campania Aerospace District, the Space Factory Group, the Garden Club Stabiae and the Space Village Network, the event promises to ignite the imagination, leading the public “to see the stars again”.
The event seems interesting, but I wonder if there are really any significant innovations in the sector. Furthermore, the presence of so many experts is certainly an advantage, but I hope that the public can participate actively.
