Yesterday, the State Police undertook an extraordinary operation to control the territory in Casandrino, an action aimed at ensuring safety and compliance with the rules.
The agents of the Frattamaggiore Police Station worked side by side with the Campania Crime Prevention Department and the personnel of the Casandrino Municipal Police. The operation led to the identification of 192 people, 40 of whom had a police record.
Furthermore, 104 vehicles were checked and 8 violations of the Highway Code were contested, with fines imposed for a total of 598 euros.

The police operation seems to have been well organized, but I'm not sure if identifying so many people is really useful. Also, the fines for traffic violations could have been higher.
While checks are important, I sometimes wonder if it is necessary to check so many vehicles. Maybe they should focus on more problem areas instead of doing general checks.
