The former number one of the German parliament enjoyed a pizza for lunch with her husband in one of the most iconic Neapolitan pizzerias: Pellone in via Nazionale a few steps from the Piazza Garibaldi station.
Angela Merkel in a light red suit sat in the last room with other customers. Someone took pictures without disturbing her. Around 14:5 p.m. she left accompanied by an impressive Italian and German security service waiting for her outside.
The presence of the former German Chancellor does nothing but confirm the international appreciation of Naples as a city both for its climate, its culture and then for its food.
