Anacapri – A heavy blow has been dealt to drug trafficking on the blue island thanks to the operation conducted by the Carabinieri of the Capri station.
Yesterday, the military, engaged in a targeted operation to combat drug dealing, arrested Costanzo Of The Valley, a 43-year-old resident of Anacapri and already known to the police.
The intervention was triggered during a specific service of observation and control of the Anacapri territory, aimed at monitoring and repressing illicit activities related to the sale of narcotic substances.
I Carabinieri they caught Della Valle red-handed while he was selling a dose of crack to a buyer.
The military immediately intervened, stopped the man and, following a personal search, found him in possession of five additional doses of the same narcotic substance, ready to be placed on the local market.
The buyer was instead reported to the Prefecture of Naples for administrative violations foreseen in the matter of consumption of illicit substances.

The arrest of Costanzo Della Valle represents an important result in the constant prevention and repression of crimes conducted by the Carabinieri on the island of Capri, with particular attention to the phenomenon of drug dealing which, unfortunately, does not even spare prestigious tourist locations such as Anacapri.
The man, at the end of the formal procedures at the Carabinieri barracks in Capri, was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority, which will evaluate his position in relation to the crime of drug dealing.
The operation demonstrates the ongoing commitment of the Carabinieri to guaranteeing security and legality on the territory, responding with concrete actions to problems related to crime and drug trafficking.
