A 37-year-old man with no criminal record from Torre del Greco was arrested by the Carabinieri on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, receiving stolen goods and possession of clandestine weapons.
The operation, conducted by the military of the operational and radiomobile unit, took place in via Unità Italiana, where a search led to the discovery, in the man's cellar, of 14 blocks of hashish, for a total of approximately 1,4 kilos, as well as scales and material for packaging the doses.
In the cellar there were also two pistols and 96 bullets
A 9×21 caliber pistol and a revolver Smith & Wesson 357 Magnums, both with serial numbers removed, along with 96 rounds of ammunition. The 37-year-old was transferred to prison, awaiting trial.
The weapons have meanwhile been sent to the scientific section of the police which will have to ascertain whether they have been used in recent criminal acts.

I read about this man's arrest and it seems like a very serious situation. The possession of illegal drugs and weapons is not something to be underestimated. I hope the authorities do a good job investigating this matter.
