A black comedy that has all the credentials to entertain the viewer catapulted into the gossip and rumors of an apartment building.
Saturday 29 February (at 21 pm) at the Teatro delle Arti with “Il segreto della violaciocca”, Ditelo Voi returns to Salerno. The hilarious show in two acts marks the flagship event of Che Comico, the exciting season created by Gv Eventi with the artistic direction of Gianluca Tortora.
On stage is the work written and directed by the friendly trio (made famous by “Made in Sud”) together with Francesco Prisco and staged by Tunnel Produzioni, which will also bring on stage the actors Federica Totaro, Rita Corrado and Alfonso Capuano.
For the audience, about two hours of laughter during which there will certainly be no shortage of lies, jealousies and twists. The extravagant condominium/tenants of a dilapidated building will find themselves, against their will, having to face a secret together.
A secret that will become an obsession for the viewer; a secret that has the flavor of the absurd, the comic, the surreal in the style of the famous Neapolitan trio but that in some cases corresponds to the darkest side of our society.
Extremely popular, “Il segreto della Violaciocca” has all the credentials to entertain, allowing the viewer to identify with the life full of gossip and misunderstandings of a condominium, whose balance between complaints and “intrigues” is upset by an absurd discovery: the discovery of a corpse whose identity is unknown. Who could it be? What to do? These are the questions around which the hilarious story is built.
The characteristics of this plot make the protagonists on stage investigators and the audience who, willingly or unwillingly, improvises as detectives for a few hours.
PLOT What happened to the Cirillo brothers (Mimmo Manfredi and Francesco De Fraia), who disappeared under mysterious circumstances thirty-two years ago and were never found again? Raffaele Annunziata (Lello Ferrante) knows something about it, a retired chemist with an immoderate passion for floriculture, struck off the medical register for having conducted unauthorized experiments on the alleged hallucinogenic properties of the Violaciocca, the so-called "Grandma's Flower", and who is holding them hostage in the cellar just below the endless flower plantation that he lovingly cultivates. No television, radio, newspapers or internet (of which the two are unaware) practically frozen at the moment they were kidnapped in revenge against a colleague, Mimmo and Francesco, now in their forties, have only known life through the eyes and stories of their tormentor...
DATE REVERSAL The Che Comico season continues with a reversal. Simone Schettino and Peppe Iodice swap dates and will perform on March 21 and April 4, respectively. Nothing changes for season ticket holders, nor for those who have already purchased tickets in advance.
