Covid, 3 outbreaks in Teano schools: 200 in isolation
About 200 people in self-isolation, including 43 children. These are the data that come from Teano, a municipality in the Caserta area, communicated by the mayor Dino D'Andrea on his Facebook profile.
“By virtue of in-person teaching, we had made available to school staff, students and families the necessary tools to protect and guarantee a safe return and to date, after much chatter and complaints from families, it is confirmed that the number of screenings carried out at the Sant'Antonio hill is significantly lower, and this is disconcerting despite the reality of the Covid numbers and this is also why we find ourselves with about 200 people in fiduciary isolation and, among these, 24 children from Teano Centro, and 19 from two other buildings in the villages”, explained the mayor.
“Through meetings and updates with the Uopc – he added through his social profile – we learned that the Rt – Contagion Index is higher than 1,5. It was necessary to close all schools of all levels in our territory for at least 15 days as we have at least 3 school outbreaks in our municipality to date”.
