Royal Palace of Caserta: 2500 admissions on the weekend of May XNUMXst. The management invites season ticket holders to go during the week to avoid queues
Almost 2500 admissions to the Royal Palace of Caserta in the first weekend of May, when the Historic Apartments reopened after being closed due to the pandemic, while the Royal Park and the English Garden reopened a week ago (April 26).
In particular, on May 850st, despite the consistently rainy day, 1634 people entered, while yesterday, May XNUMXnd, with better weather, admissions were XNUMX.
A good performance in which everything went smoothly outside the monument and at the ticket office: there were no crowds or queues to enter, also because entry was allowed only to those, season ticket holders excluded, who had booked online one day before the visit; this rule provided for by the state anti-Covid legislation will also be in force in the coming weeks.
Visitors were thus able to admire the historic rooms with some important surprises, such as the 21 works of Terrae Motus, the precious collection donated by the gallery owner Lucio Amelio to the Palace of Caserta, re-arranged last November inside the museum itinerary.
The past weekend also served to reflect on an organization that is as efficient as possible for the upcoming weekends, when a greater influx of visitors is expected and gatherings could form; for this reason, the Management invites season ticket holders to visit the Reggia during the week, given that on weekends there is an influx of tourists from other parts, who do not have the opportunity to visit the Royal Palace, a UNESCO heritage site, on weekdays. An invitation to common sense, useful for avoiding, in this moment of health emergency, queues and lines that are risky for health.
