With the Film Commission Regione Campania and the collaboration of the Municipality of Salerno, the filming of the new Rai fiction continues in Salerno
“Vincenzo Malinconico, Avvocato”, is a Rai Fiction-Viola Film co-production, directed by Alessandro Angelini and starring Massimiliano Gallo and is based on the best-selling novels by Diego DeSilva, published by Giulio Einaudi Editore. The first phase of filming, which began last May, will end on July 3, 2021 and the set will then return in September with scenes also on the Amalfi Coast and other provinces of Salerno.

Among the main locations chosen, the Court of Salerno, the Maritime Station, the Villa Comunale, the Palazzo Sant'Agostino, the Palazzo Genovese, the cloister of the Cathedral, the city seafront and the historic center, clapperboard also on the Amalfi Coast with scenes in Cetara and Vietri, and again in the province, in Cava De' Tirreni, Nocera Inferiore and Nocera Superiore.
The cast of “Vincenzo Malinconico, Lawyer” also includes Lina Sastri, Denise Capezza, Teresa Saponangelo, Francesco Di Leva, Giovanni Ludeno, Luca Gallone and with Ana Caterina Morariu and Michele Placido.
Semi-unemployed, semi-divorced, semi-happy, but above all an unsuccessful lawyer. More of a psychologist than a lawyer, Vincenzo Malinconico always has an off-topic thought in his head. He mostly defends friends and relatives in not particularly demanding disputes that he doesn't always win. Separated, with two children, women like him for his insecurity, but he can't fulfill himself on a sentimental level. Vincenzo Malinconico makes us passionate about his ramshackle adventures and showing the world through his ironic and authentic gaze.
