The positivity rate for covid in Italy continues its decline: today it is 0,8%, a further decrease compared to yesterday's 0,9%.
The data communicated in the bulletin of Ministry of Health compared to the 212.966 molecular and antigenic swabs carried out in the last 24 hours. Yesterday there were 217.610. There are 1.723 positive coronavirus tests in Italy in the last 24 hours. Yesterday there were 1.901. There are 52 victims today, while yesterday there were 69.
In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 4.243.482, the deaths 126.976. The discharged and recovered are instead 3.954.097, with an increase of 4.500 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive ones drop to 162.409, a decrease of 2.830 in the last 24 hours.
Pressure on hospital facilities also decreasing: 221 fewer patients with symptoms were hospitalized than yesterday (for a total of 3.655), 23 fewer patients were in intensive care (574 in total). Twenty-five new admissions to intensive care today compared to 21 yesterday.

The region with the highest number of new cases in the last 24 hours is Sicily (263) ahead of Lombardy (255), Campania (187), Lazio (164), Tuscany (146) and Puglia (140). Total cases since the beginning of the pandemic are 4.243.482. The currently positive are 2.830 fewer than yesterday for a total of 162.409, the discharged/recovered 4.500 more for a total of 3.954.097. In home isolation there are 158.180 positive, 2.596 fewer than yesterday.
