NapoliYesterday afternoon, the officers of the Decumani Police Station, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Center, intervened in Piazza Bellini following a report of a person armed with a metal stick who was frightening passers-by.
The police, who arrived on site, found a young man in an obvious state of agitation who was threatening an Italian Army patrol with a piece of bottle and who, upon seeing them, lashed out at them until, thanks to the support of the police stations of the Vicaria-Mercato Commissariat and of the General Prevention Office, was blocked; furthermore, not far away the operators found the metal bat.
The man, a 24-year-old from Castel Volturno, was arrested for injuries and resisting a public official.
